In 1920, Barney and Florence live in Wendell Phillips in Yakima. They own their farm free and clear. Barney is 57 and works as a farmer. Florence is 47. She was born in Michigan, and her parents in New York. Alice is 21.

In 1930, Barney was 66. He owned his farm, but doesn’t appear to have a radio. Florence was 58. They married when they were 26 and 18. Their divorced daughter Alice, 30, lives with them. She was married at 23. Jack, 6, is their grandson. A servant, Charles Brussman, 44, also lives there. He works as a laborer on the farm.
