Oreste was born in Italy, came over in 1909, and is still an alien. She works as a stenographer at a publisher, and he as an assistant manager at a tools magazine?84

In 1940, she lived with her husband and sons at 178 Teaneck Rd. in Ridgefield Park, in a home they rent for $40. She is 32, was born in Massachusetts, and has an 11th grade education. Her husband Oreste is 37, naturalized, and completed his junior year of high school. He works as a clerk for a newspaper, earning $1,700. Robert, 9, answered the census-taker’s questions and has finished 4th grade. John, 6, is listed as having finishd 3rd grade.
