The witnesses to their 1904 marriage were Francesco Livoti and Santa De Pasquale. Carmelo was 25, worked as a driver, and lived at 187 Elizabeth Street. Angela was 18 and lived at 235 Elizabeth Street.
135In 1910, lived at 232-234 Elizabeth St. with his wife, sons Filippo, 4, and Joseph, 1 1/2,and sister and her husband. He is 32, she is 22, and they have been married 5 years. Two of three children have survived. He says he arrived in 1897 and is naturalized, she says she came in 1904. He is a laborer for the street department. ‘Brother’ Paul and ‘sister-in-law’ Candida are 25 and have been married 7 years. They don’t have any kids. He works as a sweeper for the streets department.
5In 1918, lived at 286 Elizabeth St. and owned his own business as an expressman (?) at the same address. He was 40 and listed his birthday as January of 1877. White, a naturalized citizen, grey eyes, brown hair, medium height, stout build. Serial #3054.
133In 1920, lived at 238 Elizabeth Street with his wife and 7 children. He is 42, Angelina is 33, Philip is 14, Joseph is 11, Carmella is 8, Jessie is 5, Kate is 4, Concetta is 2, and Rosie is 8 months. They both arrived in 1896 and are aliens. All the children are born in New York. He is a truck driver.
