In 1893, listed in the Seattle city directory as a marble cutter at N G Gorrie, who rooms at 123 Ash.
In 1900, lived with brother Gordon and employee William H. Wilson on 13th in New Whatcom. He is 40 and single, and a stonecutter. He arrived in 1888 and is an alien. Gordon is 47, married for 23 years and works as a marble dealer. He also came in 1888, and is naturalized. Their parents were born in Scotland; they were born in Nova Scotia.
In 1910, Archie lived in Harrison with Lillian and daughter Fannie, 12. He is 38 and Lillian is 36. They have been married 14 years. They have had three of four children survive. He says he was born in Ohio and his parents are from Illinois and Michigan; she says she was born in Iowa and her parents were born in Kansas and Iowa. Fannie was born in Washington. He works as a farmer.
In 1920, he was 61 and lived at 1907 South Tacoma Ave in Tacoma. He came in 1890 and is an alien. He works at a monument company. Wife Lillian is 40 and works as a clerk in a grocery store with their daughter Frances, 22. They came in 1906 and are aliens.
