On the manifest in 1902, he is four months old, but according to the birthdate given later, he would have been a year old.14

In 1910, he’s 9, he’s been renamed John, and is living at 2147 Belmont Avenue in the Bronx.1

In 1930, living at 82 Maple Street in Teaneck with his wife Marie and children Russell and Dolores. Now 28, he was married at 23. Marie is 23 and was 19 when they married. Russell and Dolores are 3 4/12 and 1 8/12. They own their own home, valued at $9500 and own a radio. Marie’s parents were born in New Jersey. John emigrated in 1902 and is naturalized. He works in life insurance.15
