97In 1920, they live on Naval Ammunition Depot Road in Charleston and own their house free and clear. Wilhelm C is 51, emigrated in 1884 and was naturalized in 1900. Annie is 42, emigrated in 1879, and was naturalized in 1908. He and his parents were born in Germany, and she and her parents were born in French Canada. Their children are Isabel, 10, Anita, 8, Willie C, 6, Edmond, 5, and Alvin, 1 and 2/12. Wilhelm works as an ordnance man in the ammo depot.
103In 1930 she is 52, widowed, and living at 105 Bloomington in Bremerton. She was first married at 30. She owns her own home, valued at $3500, and has a radio. Sons William C, 17, Edward J, 15, and Alvin H, 11, live with her. She was born in Canada and her first language was French. The boys were all born in Washington. She emigrated in 1881 and is naturalized. She is a dressmaker. The La Gasa family is lodging with them.
