In 1900, he was 7 and living with his family in Seeley, Iowa. Cort, 31, was a tanner who was born in Pennsylvania. He and Lucy, 28, have been married 8 years, with three of three children surviving. Ray, 7, and Edna, 4, were born in Nebraska. Goldie, 11 months, was born in Iowa.
He was inducted into service in Port Orchard while living in Charleston. He was born in Neleigh, Nebraska. He served overseas from July 6, 1918 to April 20, 1919 and was discharged May 9, 1919. He was a private with Company C.
In 1920, the family lived on the county road in Charleston in a home they owned with no mortgage. Isaac C was 51 and Lucy was 47. Isaac worked as a laborer at the Navy Yard. Ray L was 26. He worked as an ordnance man at the ammo depot. Goldie was 20 and worked as a postal clerk at the post office. Guy, 17, and Lucy, 16, were born in Nebraska. Ethel, 7, was born in Washington.
In 1930, lives with his wife’s family on S. Summit Ave. He is 36 and says he was 26 years old at the time of his first marriage. He is also French Canadian, naturalized, and gives the same year of emigration (1896).
