In 1905, living in Bridge Creek with their adopetd son Paul/Bill, 10, who was born in Wisconsin. They are both 53. He and his parents were born in New York. She and one of her parents were born in New York, and the other one was born in Pennsylvania. William R. is a farmer and owns his own land.335

In 1910, as W R and Allice Romain, living in Ludington. They are 57 and have been married 37 years, with three of five children surviving. Her father was born in Pennsylvania, his mother in Connecticut. He is a farmer and owns his farm, although it is mortgaged.336

In 1920, they live in Groton Township in New York. They are 66, own their home/farm free and clear, and William is a farmer.337
