Came to the US in 1923, when she was 4, entering at Newport, Vermont. She arrived with her parents Thomas, 38, and Emilia, 35, and her siblings Gracia, 8, Joseph, 7, Leda, 5, and Simone, 1 4/12. Thomas was a carpenter. They came from Breakeyville and were headed to Holyoke, Massachusetts. The relative they left behind was his father Thomas, in St. Narcisse, Quebec. Thomas and Emilia had both been to the US before, him in Massachusetts and her in Maine. The last time he left the US was in June of 1923, and the last time she left was in 1914. Thomas was going to see his uncle Abraham Bonneau at 560 Canal Street in Holyoke, and she said she and the children were joining her husband at 567 Canal Street. Alfreda had brown hair and brown eyes.
On 1930, she lived in Massachusetts with her father and siblings.
In 1946, she filed a petition for naturalization in the Southern District and gave an address of 239 W. 15 St., New York. She was 27.
