Arrived in 1899 on the SS Alesia, traveling with his sister Concetta, and Giovanni Di Lorenzo. He is 26 and single, Concetta is 34 and married, Giovanni is 24 and single. Concetta is coming to see her husband Salvatore, Orazio his brother Giuseppe, and Giovanni his brother-in-law Giuseppe.
Also on the ship is Rosaria Livoti, 27, and her sons Antonino and Vincenzo, 5 and 10, to see her husband Filippo La Rosa.
Acquired citizenship in Newport News, VA in March of 1902.
56In June of 1902, married Cristina De Pasquale with witnesses Umberto Leonino, who was on the ship with his fiance and future father-in-law, and Maria Angela Caconnie?. Orazio was 24 and living at 183 Elizabeth Street, Cristina was 20 and living at the same address.
57In 1910, as Grazio Lioti, 32, lives at 232-234 Elizabeth Street with his wife Christina, 26, and children Millie (7), Maggie (3), and Philip (4 months). They have been married 8 years and are 3/4 on kids. He came in 1900, she in 1902, and they have filed papers. He works as a fruit peddler (on his own account) and she works as a tailor (at home).
58Orazio Livoti, living at 238 Elizabeth Street, registered for WWII naming Peter Bonaccolta (same address) as his contact person. He is 64 and was born August 27, 1877 in Mazzarra. He is unemployed. Serial #4554. April 26, 1942. He is white, 5’5”, 170, grey hair, brown eyes, and a ruddy complexion.
