In 1918, living in the Bronx at 598 E. 167 New York, NY. He’s 20, and on his WWI draft card, lists his father Stellario (same address) as his person to notify. He is a stenographer, employer unreadable. Serial number 3330, ? number A340.
174In 1920, living in a home at 1554 East 10th Street in Brooklyn with his parents, brother and sister, and uncle and aunt. Listed as 21, he is a stenographer. His father Sallario (sic), 46, and Josephine, 46, are listed as aliens who arrived in 1898. They both can read and write. Stellario is a musician and Josephine doesn’t work. His sister Theresa, 19, is a typist and Cosmo, 17, is a bookkeeper. His uncle Paolo is 52 and works as a mechanic at a chandelier (chandolier, sic) company, aunt Concetta is 45 and a dressmaker in a modest (modist, sic) shop. They said they arrived in 1897.

In 1930, he is 32 and living at 807 Elise(?) St. in Roselle Park, NJ with his wife Mary (31) and sons Richard (4) and Donald (1 3/12). He has been married 9 years, owns his $6,500 home, and works as a manager at a company that manufactures trucks. He was 23 when he married. He lives next door to his mother Giuseppa (59), uncle Paolo (63), and cousin Anthony (19).

He had completed two years of high school, and earned $2,080 working as a commercial truck salesman. Mae, 42, had an 8th grade education, was naturalized, and worked as a dress operator at a dress factory, earning $260. Richard, 14, had finished 8th grade and Donald, 11, had finished 6th. His mother Josephine, using her maiden name and listed as widowed, was a 70-year-old alien with an 8th grade education. Paul, 72, was also an alien, and his highest level of education was also 8th grade.
