(Natala Stella and her mother Bernarda were going to see their brother/son Stellario Otella/Atella/Stella at the same address.)

However, she is also detained in group 19, number 23, number of aliens 1. The reason is ‘with ‘33’’ (meaning she is with Bernarda Guadullo on line 33 below her, who is held one day and the cause is ‘to bro’). Bernarda and Maria are released at 2:45 after being served lunch, Bernarda to her ‘son Stellario Arebu?’ at 55 James and Maria to her ‘mother Jos.’ at 305 E. 114th Street.

In 1921, at 23, she married John Cambria. She lives at 8120 17th Avenue, and was born in Messina. Her surname here is Rodie, and her mother’s name is given as Caffaia.



In 1930, she is 31 and living at 807 Elise(?) St. in Roselle Park, NJ with her husband John (32) and sons Richard (4) and Donald (1 3/12). She has been married 9 years, and they own their $6,500 home. She was born in Italy, and was 22 when she married. She lives next door to her mother-in-law Giuseppa (59), Giuseppa’s brother Paolo (63), and a cousin-in-law Anthony (19).162
